Presentation Viewer App Reviews

Works Well

This app does what it says - it show a PowerPoint (PPT) file on a TV / monitor or projector. It also supports the Apple Digital AV (HDMI) Adapter. Just email a PowerPoint file to yourself, open the message in Mail, tap on the attachment and tap "Open In.." and choose "Presentation". Embedded songs and movies are not supported, just text and graphics.

Presentation Viewer Ver 1.3

Works okay with small presentations but crashes if you try to load a presentation larger than 5MB. Great idea--- love being able to connect my IPAD to a large screen TV or digital projector to show Powerpoint presentations. The link for support just takes you to Onokos website -- there is no place for submitting a support request or question. Need a bugfix for larger presentations to load.

Cant see my files after upgrade

Just updated to the latest version, and now my list of presentations doesnt show up -- just a blank screen. Very frustrating.

App crashes

This app crashes every time I try to open a PowerPoint file. Both ppt and pptx You definitely get what you pay for

Editor

Version 1.5 crashes worse than 1.3 when trying to load PPT presentation

Horrible app!

Crashed every time I tried to open a ppt.

Always crash

This app always crash on iPad with iOS 4.3 when loading any .ppt presentation but the inbuilt example. Dont know if same occurs on iPhones or iPads 2.

WORST APP EVER!!!!!

Whatever you do dont download this app....always crashes whenever you try to view your presentation. It only displays the 3 slide presentation that is loaded with the app...so I thought maybe it was a file size issue but it still crashed when I tried to display only one slide. I also tried it on my iPhone and it crashed there too. Hey Apple I thought you were picky when it came to adding apps...well you screwed up on this one.

Worked OK, but not anymore?

The first time I installed it, the app performed as advertised. Turns ppt files to photos, which can be them viewed through AppleTv. However, now the same crash reported below happens to me. Bug needs fixing.

Fixed and great app!!!

I knew this app had potential. I will agree, it was not very good before the update, but I emailed the makers and they quickly relaunched the app. Its really good now, definitely 5 stars!

hiii.

YESS! i am the first to write! well i went and downloaded this app and i wnat on the website it told me to go on and it did not tell me where to go to find things but i would like to know how this works in detali because it seems to be a good app! :D

Dropbox

It seems to have great potential. Add support for Dropbox.Madding files through iTunes is limiting and requires one to be 100% prepared for any possible change before a presentation. Half of the tabs in the app have nothing to do with the app. Remove the adaptors tab. "more" should be used for the app functions.

Presentation Viewer

Looks like just what I need, however, crashes way to often. Just not stable enough to do the job. Im trying to use on iPad 1 with the latest operating system software and is not dependable for use.

Be Warned, It Doesnt Perform as Advertised

It doesnt perform properly and the quality of the slides are so unreadable it is unusable. If you need to show a presentation over Apple TV or other cables, simply use mirroring, the quality surpasses what this app can provide. Wish I had a refund, because until they update the softoware, it will remain unused.

Not so hot

Worked on my iPad for a couple of days and will no longer open files. They say a fix is coming, but that did not help with my presentation this week.

bad

this app not very bad

APPS SHOULDNT BE HARD

I might like this app if there were instructions that made sense. The instructions for transferring a presentation to the app are out-dated -- my iTunes screen looks nothing like what I have now. Other methods dont make sense. Dont waste the $3.

Doesnt function properly

Wont upload files into iTunes and transfer to iPad.

It might be good

How do you import files to open? How do you do anything? You might look at the help files but when you press the help button the app closes. So like I said, it might be good if you could open anything beyond their example.

Same problem fixed

At first I couldnt figure out how to open or import my files. Their support is nonexistent. Their preloaded file played great but the help button causes the app to quit. I found that my own files can be added by syncing through iTunes using the applications button. Does this by any chance work better with iOS 7?
